These handmade cups are wheel-thrown using stoneware clay with iron oxide spots & fired at 1222oC. Glazed with a yellow matt glaze. Measurements per cup: 6cm in height 9cm in diameter 300ml capacity As all handmade ceramics are unique, slight variations in size & colour are to be expected. Its food-safe & lead-free glaze ensures that it's safe for everyday use. This product is also dishwasher & microwave safe. Treat as a delicate item & while it can withstand the dishwasher, it is recommended to hand-wash for optimal maintenance. Crafted on a potter's wheel, these cups are trimmed & glazed before undergoing a two-step firing process in an electric ceramic kiln. The final stage of firing takes place at a high temperature of 1222oC (2231oF), resulting in high-fired stoneware.
