A delicate & elegant planter available in four sizes. This is one of our newest designs in stock, & it has a spin on the classic design of the footed plant pot. The pot itself begins cylindrical at the top & gently tapers in to a curved base. The 4 columns that supported are expertly extruded from the same ceramic perfectly in line with the diameter of the top, creating a sculptural depth at the lower part of the pot. The glaze is delicate & intricate - mainly a creamy white colour with speckles & sometimes patterns of fading black grey & browns throughout. Each item is made by hand & glazed by hand so there are variations to the form & glaze - some items are more speckled, while others have a more even creamy finish - each piece is unique. The planter is glazed internally & has no drainage hole, making it perfect for indoor use. The height of the planter is taller than standard nursery pots so that some drainage can be added at the base of the pot before adding the plant. This can be done with pebbles, crockery or non perishable materials, & it stops the plant from sitting in water with the roots being lifted off the base of the planter. We often reuse boxes & bubble wrap from parcels we have previously received to give a longer life to existing materials, & not generate unnecessary new waste. All gift wrapped items will be carefully packed with FSC approved acid free wrapping paper & ribbon, & placed inside an outer box with protective materials. All shipping is now tracked worldwide, via Royal Mail in the UK & the corresponding partner in the country of destination, except in the very few countries where there isn't a tracking agreement between Royal Mail & the postal service at the country of destination. in this instance the parcel can only be tracked while it is in the UK.
