A selection of two sizes of these beautifully glazed planters. The form is oval, starting from a flat urn style base, & then curving out to its widest point quite low in the height, then gently tapering inwards to the aperture which is finished with a curved lip. The artistry is not just in the throwing of the pots, but in the incredubly intricate glaze. The pattern is a naturalistic croc effect, smooth to the touch but aesthetically tesellated throughout in an organic form, changing in size & direction throughout the surface of the planter. The glaze has a very darg greeny bronze base, with a rainbow of colours washed over the final glazed layer. This results in a beautiful effect, where the colour & radiance of the glaze changes gradually throughout the surface & intensifies under changing light conditions. These pots are entirely made by hand & glazed & fired multiple times to achieve the complex build up of textures & colours. They are treated internally with a matt water resistant glaze making them perfect for indoor use. The will look fantastic with any plant they house as they are such standout pieces of artistic craft work. The size & glaze will vary slightly from piece to piece.
