Inspired by vintage mid century modern shapes & blue & grey tones, these vases will up the 'decor chic' in any modern interior. They are made of recycled glass, & have characteristic shapes, which make them great as stand alone pieces as well as as flower vases. The glass of these vases is not painted, but the colour is produced by adding specific elements and/or metal (depending on colour) to the molten glass in the early stages of the making process in order to achieve the desired colour. This is a normal procedure for the making of coloured glass. As they are quite thick glass they do not require a lot of water with the flowers (unless you have very top heavy flowers such as sunflowers) which will help the stems last longer & will make the overall modern aesthetic work as a whole. We recommend using them with a few choice flowers & lots of foliage to bring out their inherent structure. They also look fantastic with a bunch of dried wildflowers.
