It tells the story of a cheeky, fruit-thieving bird. Intricate & highly ornamented, this cherished design is a riot of colour & expressive detail. What makes each coaster truly special is the handcrafted touch. It takes several dedicated days to complete, from sanding the wood, applying the luxury designer paper & finally applying four layers of varnish to seal the coasters. I use two types of sealant; the first two layers have a sealant that uses nanotechnology making it water & stain resistant with high UV protection; the final two layers have an extra strong tough sealant which is Semi-Heat resistant - Stain resistant - Biocide free with UV Protection. Each layer requires a full 24 hours of drying time. No two coasters are exactly alike, making each one a unique work of art. Please note that due to the handmade nature, pattern placement may vary slightly from the photos, adding to its individual charm.
