Description
A tall orange handblown glass art vase with wavy mouth, originating in Northern Europe during the 1970s. The wavy white glass edge sits on a ribbon band of deeper orange glass. There are numerous wonderful air bubbles in the orange glass (small circular ones & longer oval ones) A striking piece with or without flowers! Beautifully smooth & cool to touch, great mid century style. It has some lovely tiny round & elongated bubbles inside the glass (with some longer elongated ones in flute). A few bubbles in stem of base. Embossed makers stamp on centre of base - Verrerie de La Bourboule. Handmade/ blown - Souffl bouche. in very good vintage condition, odd very light scratch but nothing noticeable. Please see photos for overall condition.
