A truly modernist piece of furniture, this 1960s Mid Century Uniflex Desk was designed by Gunther Hoffstead as part of the 'Q' series. Featuring recessed handles & beautiful trapeze legs, this teak desk would make a wonderful addition to any home office space or dressing room. This is a solid heavy well made piece of mid century furniture. The desk is in great vintage condition with a few minor scratches & marks. There is a light patch in the veneer to the top of the desk, on the lower right hand corner (see photo 4 & 5). There are also some minor chips on the edge of the veneer on the drawers & one larger scratch on the right hand top drawer (as seen in photos 6 & 7). There is also some glue marks to the back of the sitting space where a mirror would have been originally fitted, & can't been seen unless looking underneath the desk.
