Cotton bedspread or eiderdown from the 1970s with a cream floral pattern & white fringe. This lovely bedcover is labelled double bed size but is photographed on a king size bed & although it does not touch the ground at the sides it does fit it nicely. The cover is in good condition & has a lovely texture & a very pretty floral pattern. It is a heavy bedspread with white fringing on three sides & is shaped (rounded) at the bottom corners. It is in good condition although there is a slight bit of tanning/marking to a couple of areas towards the right side. This cover may look best updated & dyed a colour that would fit in with the decor of your bedroom! Measurements: 86 inches (218 cms) in width & approx 100 inches 254 (cms) in length not including fringe (see photo 10). Label: St Michael (brand owned & used by British retailer Marks & Spencer between 1927 & 2000). Washing instructions indicate that the blanket is cotton & to wash separately either by machine or handwashing.
