A beautiful wavy edged serving plate divided into four sections with Copeland Spode blue back-stamp in their popular blue Italian collection. Lovely for display & use. The transfer pattern includes Italian pastoral scenes with river, trees, bridge, church, buildings etc., inspired by the Italian countryside, with an oriental style border - all in mid & dark blue on white Diameter approx 10 / 25.5cm There is blue back-stamp on the reverse & impressed Copland marks marks. Likely to date from the 1930s. Very good vintage condition with vibrant colours. Small chip on underside as shown. Collectable & perfect for serving sandwiches or cakes.
