An attractive fruit or vegetable serving bowl with Copeland Spode blue back-stamp in their popular blue Italian collection. Lovely for display & use. The transfer pattern includes Italian pastoral scenes with river, trees, bridge, church, buildings etc., inspired by the Italian countryside, with an oriental style border on the interior of the bowl. Diameter 9.25 / 24cm. Height 2.5 / 6.5cm The blue oval backstamp & the impressed Copeland mark on the reverse dates the bowl to 1930s or earlier. Small chip on underside of rim as shown.
