Very attractive, 20th century, flame mahogany, inlaid & cross-banded breakfront sideboard of exceptional quality made by one of England's leading furniture manufacturers Bevan Funnell Reprodux. in the traditional Georgian style, the sideboard has a spacious, flat top, with traditional straight-cut edges with cross-banded, inlaid, borders & very attractive flame mahogany graining veneer. The top shows a few light scratches as shown in the photos. There is a single drawer below, it has cock-beaded edges & solid brass, swan-neck handles, which have not been re-polished, but could be. Below, there are three storage cupboards, all have a solid wood removable shelf inside & beautiful rib-cage mahogany veneer on the fronts. The cupboard doors have matching cock-beaded edges with cross-banded & inlaid borders. The two smaller cupboards have bowed fronts, with matching cross-banded inlaid borders & dummy drawers at the top. Doors have solid brass escutcheons & their original locks are in full working order. There are two keys. The sturdy sideboard stands on Georgian style bracket feet, with a moulded border above for added decoration.
