This is a listing for a beautiful antique French small white ironstone cafe au lait bowl. Dating from the early 20th Century, this is a fabulous example of a smaller sized French caf au lait bowl. Decorated with a beautiful blue floral patterned border, the foot of the bowl also has an interesting ribbed effect. It is a very pretty piece. The bowl has a chippy appearance, with stained lines of crazing on the inside of the bowl & a hairline also running down from the top rim. There are also age marks & staining to three small firing marks on the inside of the bowl. However, these flaws add a natural timeworn charm to the piece. in summary, this is an excellent piece of vintage French kitchenalia which would lovely displayed amongst other white ironstone piece but is also incredibly useful around the home still.
