Dimensions: 15.5 diameter x 3.5 tall One-of-a-kind piece handmade in my shop in Cumberland, Ontario. This piece features the beautiful rich wood grain of Canadian Cherry in a contemporary design. The strong grain as well as the colour variations in this piece are beautiful. This bowl is fairly wide but shallow. It displays fruit or salad in a beautiful way! It is made from one solid piece of wood that is dried & hand turned on a lathe. It takes from one to two years to complete & will give you a bowl that will be passed on to future generations (see my video on the site on how I make a bowl). At 15.5 diameter & 3.5 tall this is a large bo wl.It is finished with a food safe linseed oil & beeswax finish. Instructions for how to care for your bowl are included. A very functional piece for salad or fruit, it could serve a side salad for around 7 people. However, this piece could also serve as an attractive decorative piece on your coffee or dining table!
