Made to sit in the palm of your hand & yet be a generous size, these mugs are made of Cornish stoneware, from the cliffs by St Agnes, & finished in a combination of glazes to reflect the colours of the ocean. Most are speckled as if by sea foam, some are plain. if you have a preference let me know. Each mug is unique & individually hand thrown on the wheel. The single finger hold is comfortable & suits the simple straight sided design. I am listing these mugs in my Etsy shop because these mugs proved so popular on my market stalls so I'm confidant buyers will be happy. Sometimes mistakes with the glazes happen, little mistakes I ignore but if a patch doesn't get glazed, the whole mug is glazed too thinly, or they come out too wonky or oval I add them as seconds. You'll find them as a separate listing in my shop. Feel free to ask me to send photos of what's in stock so you can make an individual choice. To be sustainable I use a local clay. I have solar panels to power my kiln & I collect & reuse packaging when I send out parcels. When shipping to USA I have decided to send International Economy as this is generally a more sustainable, if slower, form of transport; travelling by land & sea.
