These Forged Octagonal Tea Light Holders are a Beautiful addition to any home & make for a great handmade gift. Created by award winning blacksmith Joel R-Robinson these Beautiful looking candle holders look stylish with all types of tea lights, the natural dark metallic grey contrasts the brightly coloured tea lights & candle flame perfectly. Every Tea Light Holder starts its creative journey as a thick length of round steel bar, the steel is heated in the forge & hammered under a power hammer to create an 8 sided length of steel. Once the steel bar has cooled it is then cut into smaller octagonal lengths. The now shorter bar of steel is then re-heated in the forge & squished under the power hammer creating its unique squished appearance, the centre of the tea light holder is then squished again to form the hollow for the tea light to sit in, & then for the final touch the J.R.R makers mark is stamped into the centre. Each Tea Light Holder is then wire brushed to bring out the steels natural shine & to highlight the textures created in the forge, each one is then given a coat of clear lacquer to preserve the steels shine & to protect against rust.
