Sunrise at Dolomites, Italy, Mountain panorama from Forcella di Giau, approx. 2,5 km from Passo Giau, about 2350 m.. View to mount Ra Gusela 2595 m, Tofana Di Roses 3225 m, Tofana Di Mezzo 3244, & many other peaks... I was on a mission to capture the night sky & Milky Way over the Dolomites & also the sunrise & the mountain panorama from Forcella di Giau, approximately 2.5 km from Passo Giau. Unfortunately, when I reached my destination, my heart sank as I saw that the night sky was covered by thick clouds that made night photography impossible. Despite the disappointment, I decided to wait at the place until the morning hours, determined to capture the sunrise, come what may. As I waited, the night grew colder & damp, & the dawn seemed far away. The hours passed by, & I felt my resolve wavering. But then, just as the first light appeared on the horizon, the clouds started to clear, revealing the magnificent mountain panorama. The sun was casting a warm glow over the surrounding peaks, which stood tall against the red clouds in the sky. I quickly set up my camera & started to take photos, capturing the beauty of the moment in every shot. I felt my heart swell with emotion as I clicked away, capturing the stunning mountain panorama & the beauty of the sunrise. I had taken a landscape photograph that would stay with me for a lifetime, & I was filled with gratitude for the opportunity to witness such beauty. The memory of that sunrise would remain with me forever, & I knew that I would never forget the feeling of awe & wonder I had felt as I took that landscape photograph.
