Espresso Cup Night Sky Blue - w. 5.3 cm x h. 4.2 cm Thrown by hand in clay coloured by oxide, each of these Espresso Cups is unique in texture & character while following the same pattern of form & size. Each handle is hand-pulled in my complimentary oxide-coloured clay. Fired to 1200C, this cup has an immersive blue interior & deep grey exterior. The internal & external surfaces are dotted with flecks of light & dark & the contrasting handle cuts a pale streak across the cup; a flash of brightness in the night. All my Home collections are dishwasher & microwave safe. Hand washing is recommended for any handmade items. All my Home Collection are designed for hot & cold food & beverages. The exterior of my Home Collection feels like a sandy stone surface; contrasted by the smooth feel of the glazed interior similar to a shiny pebble. Each of my Espresso Cups is handmade with love carrying an imperfection that makes them unique & beautiful in their own right. Each of my items is unique so the object you will receive will have a slight variation, either with colour, size or shape, then the objects in the photograph, but it will carry the same high standard of craftsmanship & aesthetic. All my objects are wrapped in my sapphire blue tissue paper held in place with a Karen Dawn Curtis' sticker. It will be encased in paper bubble wrap & placed in a double-walled cardboard box padded with eco-space filler.
