Antique 19thC Victorian Oak Glastonbury chair. Glastonbury chair is a nineteenth-century term for an earlier wooden chair, usually of oak, possibly based on a chair made for Richard Whiting, the last Abbot of Glastonbury, England, Some are more ornate than others, this is a particularly fine example with stunning carved arms. Exceptionally well made & very strong. Excellent antique condition.
