Pair 17th Century-style carved oak armchairs. Made in the 19th Century, with lunette carved cresting with moulded rail surmount above the panel back with a carved cinquefoil entwining five carved flower heads, the boarded seat flanked by shaped arms on baluster turned supports, the seat rails with lunette carving, on square & baluster turned legs joined by gouge carved peripheral stretchers. Dimensions: 56cm wide x 49cm deep x 50cm seat height x 79cm arm height x 108cm high at the back. Condition: Good solid condition, nicely worn & aged, small chip to the wood on the end of the arm, some damage to the bottom of the back legs.
