I have great admiration for the women with such patience & skill to make items like this. Many would have been made by young women for their trouseau. Probably Victorian or Edwardian, imagine the poor light they would have had to complete this work in the evenings. This table cloth is in fantastic condition. It has drawn thread work & a pretty filet crochet border around the edge. It has a couple of launder marks on one side, a small ink blob in one corner & a small mark on the crochet but otherwise, perfect. It measures 90x65cm inclusive. Makes a great centre piece.
