A handsome pair of early C19th Victorian cast brass candlesticks, with ejectors, in the Georgian manner, larger than average. These have beautifully turned sconces, above vase shaped columns terminating in a wide cast, octagonal bevelled foot, one of which has suffered a slight ding. One also has a slight dent on the flared sconce. There is an old soldered repair to the stem of one, but it's stable & stands well. They have their original candle ejectors (not tested). They have a beautiful colour & patina, are larger than usual & are very stable. They have not been cleaned to retain their patina (how I like them), & have a dull, timeworn look, but could be buffed to a higher shine, if required.
