Horn Mugs can be used for Water, Wine, Ale, & Beer. However these Horn mugs are not suitable for Hot Beverages. Since each horn is handcrafted, no two pieces will look the same. All our products are gently polished, to bring out natural finish. The base of our tankards or horn mugs are sealed with wood or resin & the interiors of all our products are coated with food safe lacquer coating, making them very safe to drink from. As we use 100% natural horns there be a slight variation in the patterns, color & texture then the photos shown. NOTE: The burlap bag shown in picture is currently not included. HOW TO CARE YOUR DRINKING HORN VESSELS Clean your horn with lukewarm running water & mild soap before first use. Use your horn mug often Wash every time before & after use with mild soap & lukewarm water. Horn products are NOT dishwasher safe. Wipe off with towel or let them dry naturally on drying rack or mat. Keep your horn bowl separate from sharp utensils DO NOT fill it with hot beverage, or place it in a hot environment DO NOT use in Microwave.
