KARLA & BORIS are a passionate ceramic cups duo. They are named after famous slovenian sculptors Karla Bulovec Mrak & Boris Kalin. Their lines & pink handle make them a perfect gift for a creative soul. They are hand built, colored with engobe colors & glazed in a shiny transparent glaze. The ceramic cups were designed as a couple, but you can buy them separately. You can use them for coffee or tea. During the process of making I used only food safe materials. They can be washed in a dishwasher, however they will last longer if washed by hand. Please note that all my ceramic cups slightly vary in size & shape. They are hand built & that gives them a special charm. They can also have some imperfections. But that is what makes them unique - there is only one of a kind in the whole wide world. If you like perfect clean shapes, these ceramic mugs are probably not for you. I shape & build every ceramic cup by hand without a potter's wheel & with a lot of tender love & care. That's why I can produce only small batches. Each ceramic cup is different & therefore only one is in stock. If you'd like more ceramic cups of the same design, I'm happy to make these to order.
