Rare & beautiful set that would grace any home. My concern is that it is not perfect, & any buyer needs to be happy with the imperfections before buying. The Teapot is clearly marked on the base for 1859, so 164 years old. To put into context, this is pre-American civil war. The maker is Branson & Andrew, a rarity in itself. Unusually to, it has the royal coat of arms stamped on the base as well. The silver is in excellent condition, & very presentable, however, there are scuff marks to the top of the handle & a few very small ones to the main column. As this is Silver on Britannic metal, these are not so noticeable unless on close inspection - & even then, there is no taking away that this is a very beautiful piece. The Sugar Bowl & Creamer are similar, though they do not have makers marks. I have put them together with the Teapot because they are: the same shape & style (notably the chequered chase pattern to the sides), Silver on Britannic Metal, & similar age. There are scuff marks to the sugar bowl handles & underneath the handles. Dimensions: Teapot; 26cm H, 23cm L, & 15cm W. Sugar Bowl; 12cm H, 15.5cm L, 11.5 W. Milk Jug; 12cm H, 9.5cm L, 8cm W.
