Vintage Barn Wood Table - Reclaimed Wood Table - Handcrafted Table - Antique Farmhouse Table - Dovetailed Drawers - Wooden Pegs DELIVERY OR PICK UP ONLY in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA & ARIZONA The gentlemen who made this table was born in the late 1800s in Germany. He grew up in the Black Forrest where he learned his craft of cabinet & furniture making. He moved to Pennsylvania as a young man & made his living as a true artist. This farmhouse table is a wonderful example of his craft. The top is two pieces of barn wood which he keyed together with 3 wooden keys! (photos 2 & 3) There are absolutely no nails or screws of any kind in this piece. It is all wooden pegged (photo 6) & the two drawers are dovetailed. They open so smoothly! The entire top comes off when you pull the 4 hand carved pegs out of the sides. The drawer pulls are also hand carved. The maker milled all the wood himself from his property. This table is 50 wide, 25 3/4 deep & 26 1/2. The height from the floor to bottom of drawers is 19 3/4. It isn't tall enough to be a kitchen table. Its a side or occasional table. It is in very good vintage condition with only one back leg with wood scratched off at the bottom & a corner of the top from normal use. I can't say enough about the workmanship on this exceptional piece & the pride in craftsmanship. SHIPPING: Shipping is not free. We deliver to Los Angeles & San Diego Counties for a reasonable fee.
