A lovely butterfly mobile for the nursery or infant bedroom or even wedding decor. These delicate 3D butterflies created in sturdy 300gsm bamboo, cotton or mulberry cardstock are printed with our unique watercolour designs & will fascinate inquisitive eyes for hours. The multi coloured butterflies are mounted on a 12" dia (30.48cm) hoop frame with ribbon/ring hanger. These are available bound in white cotton braid or left in their natural wood/bamboo finish. Each of the nine strands is threaded with strong clear line which is stitched & glued securely in place. There are over 37 double butterflies of different sizes & designs on this mobile. Groups of butterflies are strung with adequate spacing to allow them to move gently without tangling. The pastel watercolour design is printed on both sides so that the double wings show a myriad of colours from the top & bottom. All the colours are mixed so that no two butterflies are the same. Because of the variation in the design, no two mobiles will be the same. Total hanging length of the mobile is approximately 45cm (18") & the mobile will be supplied with a standard white 2.9" ceiling hook (cup hook). PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MOBILE IS NOT A TOY & MUST BE HUNG OUT OF REACH OF INFANTS & YOUNG CHILDREN!!!! Price includes shipping within the UK & is usually shipped as "Royal Mail Signed For". CUSTOM ORDERS: We print designed cardstock in house & have an extensive range of exceptionally high quality pearlescent shimmer card, so we can create these in any colour scheme you require. Please note that butterflies are die cut, their sizes cannot be altered. Butterfly designs may change as dies are replaced. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: We have constructed this mobile using fishing line that has a 6lb breaking strength & each set of butterflies is stitched in & glued for extra safety but This mobile IS NOT A TOY!! & the small parts do represent a choking hazard, so please make sure it is out of reach of babies & children. We DO NOT recommend hanging this mobile from a crib hanger unless you are absolutely certain that the infant cannot reach the mobile. HANGING: Each set of butterflies is wrapped in tissue to keep them from tangling during shipping. DO NOT remove this until your mobile is hung in place. Then all you need to do is gently unwrap the tissue & slowly lower the tissue downwards to release each butterfly. Your butterfly mobile is supplied with a general ceiling hook but please make sure you fit the correct type of hook for your building. The length of your mobile when hanging is about 45-50cm from the hook. (Please read safety note below). Butterfly wings: Your butterflies have been designed to open to a 3d design but for postage purposes they have been packed flat.
