1930s Floral Poster by Guy Serre, French Flowers Fleurs, Original gouache artwork signed on this paper, wall art retro decor Original Antique French 1930s Large Poster Paintings by Guy Serre. Though much better known for his work with famous French events of Cannes & Monaco, this early naive piece of floral work shows his journey into great mid-century art. Probably travel posters before letters. Original gouache artwork. Both 23 x 15 inches. On thin paper. Dimensions: 15 in x 23 in (40 cm x 60 cm) Condition: some foxing with age, some rough edges, see photos. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. When framed these colourful & detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time. These posters are sent as unframed. They will be rolled up & delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
