Dedicated to the Nativity of St Mary (Santa Maria Nascente), it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Archbishop Mario Delpini. The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete: construction began in 1386, & the final details were completed in 1965. It is the largest church in the Italian Republicthe larger St. Peter's Basilica is in the State of Vatican City, a sovereign stateand possibly the second largest in Europe & the third largest in the world (its size & position remains a matter of debate). Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. When framed these colourful & detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time. These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection. See the FAQ for more information on shipping, tracking & insurance options. 1980S Milan Travel Poster, Il Duomo Cathedral, Milano, Vintage Italian, Italy Travel Tourism, Holiday Vacation, Wall Art Decor
