1987 Otto Dix Poster, Centre Georges Pompidou, Portrait de la Sylvia von Harden 1926, Expressionism, gallery exhibition wall art decor This Otto Dix exhibition poster is from the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris for a 1987 exhibition featuring the sculpture of Portrait de la Sylvia von Harden from 1926. Dimensions: 27.5 in x 19.5 in (70 cm x 50 cm) Condition: There are some slight markings on the poster, see photos. Otto Dix was a German painter & printmaker, noted for his ruthless & harshly realistic depictions of German society during the Weimar Republic & the brutality of war. Along with George Grosz & Max Beckmann, he is widely considered one of the most important artists of the Neue Sachlichkeit. What is special about exhibition & gallery posters is that they are an affordable way of getting good, unique art on the walls, as although it is not an artists original, neither is it something that has been mass reproduced. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm. These posters are sent as unframed. They are delivered in a cardboard-backed envelope for protection. They have been stored folded. See the FAQ for more information on shipping, tracking & insurance options. 1987 Otto Dix Poster, Centre Georges Pompidou, Portrait De La Sylvia Von Harden 1926, Expressionism, Gallery Exhibition Wall Art Decor
