Description
This is a limited edition poster from France advertising Ricard, a apritif pastis from Marseille from 1954. It shows a tea pot of Ricard being poured into a tall glass, a vintage advert from 1954. Artist: Henry Couve Numbered 106Z9/1200 Dimensions: 23.5 in x 16.5 in (60 cm x 42 cm) Lithographer: Imp Speciale Ricard Marseille Condition: a bit grubby in places, see photos Ricard is a pastis, an anise & licorice-flavored apritif, created by Marseille native Paul Ricard in 1932, who marketed it as the true pastis from Marseille. Paul Ricard's justification for the name was I am willing to put my name on it, because I am sure of the quality of this pastis & proud of its unique taste. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm. These posters are sent as unframed. They are delivered in a cardboard tube for protection. See the FAQ for more information on shipping, tracking & insurance options. 1990S Ricard Poster, Apritif Pastis Marseille, Limited Edition Reprint From 1954, Tea Pot, Alcoholic Drink Advertising Print Wall Art Decor
