Printed: by Greunar Janura AG, Glarus Switzerland Dimensions: 21 in x 19 in (53 cm x 49 cm) Condition: a few white edge marks, see photos. Hundertwasser was an Austrian visual artist & architect who also worked in the field of environmental protection. Hundertwasser stood out as an opponent of a straight line & any standardization, expressing this concept in the field of building design. His best known work is the Hundertwasserhaus in Vienna, which has become a notable place of interest in the Austrian capital, characterised by imaginative vitality & uniqueness. Hundertwasser's comment on the work, My division of labour for print-graphics production was in full force: Japan for wood-block prints, Paris for lithography, Venice for silkscreen printing & Vienna for engraving & copperplate engraving. I think there is no better way of dividing up & utilising the traditional mastery in the various sectors of print graphics. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
