Dimensions: 27.6 in x 19.7 in (70 cm x 50 cm) The Orient Steam Navigation Company, also known as the Orient Line, was a British shipping company with roots going back to the late 18th century. From the early 20th century onwards an association began with P&O (Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company) which became 51% shareholder in 1919 & culminated in the Orient Line being totally absorbed into that company in 1966. The posters in this series are faithful Visoni reproductions of classic 20th Century from the late 1990s which have bright vibrant colours & clean lines of some of the best-known travel posters. Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear & tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, & edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
