As I sit here, looking at the stunning photos displayed on my wall, I can't help but smile at the journey that led me here. It wasn't always easy, & there were times when I wanted to give up & just focus on my career, but my passion for photography kept me going. I remember the first time I picked up a camera. It was a small point & shoot that my parents had given me as a gift, & from the moment I held it in my hands, I knew that photography was going to be a huge part of my life. I started by taking pictures of anything & everything, learning as much as I could about composition & lighting. As I got older & my career took off, I found myself with less & less time to pursue my passion. But I never forgot about it, & whenever I could, I would take my camera out & snap a few shots. Eventually, I decided that it was time to retire & focus on what really made me happy - photography. I started taking classes & investing in the best equipment I could find. I spent hours reading & researching, learning everything there was to know about Photoshop & Lightroom. & when drones became popular, I knew I had to add them to my arsenal. Now, I travel the world in search of the perfect landscape photograph. From the majestic mountains to the sprawling cityscapes, I am always on the lookout for that one shot that will take my breath away. & while I may never find the perfect photo, I am constantly amazed by the beauty that surrounds me & am grateful for the opportunity to capture it through my lens. It's been a long & winding road, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Photography has brought me so much joy & fulfillment, & I am grateful for every moment I get to spend behind the camera. I took this photo from the walkway on the southwest side of Lady Bird Lake while I was searching for the framed shot under the Commerce Street Bridge(see photo Bridge View) in a separate listing. It was a crisp December morning & my hands were freezing but I was determined to find a scene that had been locked in my mind years earlier. On the way I found this beautifully framed shot of downtown Austin that will look great on any wall.
