Description
West German fat lava pottery vase. A genuine vintage 1960's classic. Rarity 89/100 Condition 91/100 Made by the famous Eckhardt & Engler company of West Germany. Marked on the base with West Germany & the correct period model numbers. Stunning shades of matt green lava glaze. Abstract designs in terracotta & black. Chocolate inside. The label on the neck is not a manufacturer's label, but most likely an original retail shop label. A beautiful mid century modern abstract design. 20 cm tall. (8 inches) So a nice medium sized vase. Very nice variations in the glazes, as you can see. Check the photos & my condition estimate. Use the zoom. Possible signs of use or age, or factory created popped lava bubbles. But otherwise... in good collector's condition. Any white marks in the photos are reflection. All of our vases can be filled with water & used for floral displays if desired.
