My birds bee 's & bugs is the perfect gift for bakers , gardeners & nature geeks alike. Three luxury teatowels made with a heavy weght organically grown cotton. Birds: a range of bird table classics, with gold finches, wrens & blackbird, surrounded in Rowan, arnica flower & scarlet pimpernel. Bees: all the delights of a balmy Summers day: Sunflowers, conflowers & foget-me-nots surround the majestic bumblebee. Bugs: Emperor & yellow underling moths, cinnabar caterpillar, shield bug, grapevine beetle chanteralle, shaggy parasol , scarlett wax cap, turkey tail fungi & wolf lichen. They've been made with heavyweight 390gsm cotton, so work great for drying dishes, I like to use mine for wrapping my sourdough in to keep it fresh . The fabric has been especially coated for digital printing, giving the image quality exceptional detail & colour vibrancy. My original pen & ink illustration have been printed onto a speckled cream half panama fabric, giving them a more subtle look than you average bright white towel. They come with a hanging loop sewn in, so you can easily hang 'em up & show 'em off in your kitchen! You get quite a bit of towel for your tea at 46 x 66 cm aprox. Over time some flecks may appear on the print, this is due to the nature of the organicaly grown cotton. For best results: wash at up to 40, on a delecate cycle & hang to dry.
