Antique Victorian souvenir drinking glass. A hand-blown glass in a red leather leather (or possibly faux-leather) case marked 'A present from Bournemouth' on the lid. These items often contained glasses for medicine with etched dosage marks on the sides. This glass is unmarked & clearly, from the text to the lid, intended as a souvenir gift form a holiday to the seaside. The box ix in good condition but showing some signs of wear, mainly to the edges. The glass itself is finely blown & undamaged. It appears to be the original glass & fits the case well. The case stands a little over 3 (8 cm) tall & is 2.25 (6 cm) in diameter. The glass stands 2.75 (7 cm) tall & measures A little over 2 (5.5 cm) across the rim.
