These elegant Alicia earrings are made from white porcelain clay & have textured grooves carved into the face. Fired first in white glaze then again with Mother of Pearl & 22ct gold lustre. The Mother of Pearl finish is subtle & shimmers beautifully when catching the light. They measure approximately 33mm in length, excluding the earring hook, & 30mm in width making them slightly oval in shape. All ceramic earrings start as small lumps of wet clay and, once formed, are fired to bisque before being individually polished by hand to give them a smooth finish. They are then fired to 1220 degrees which makes them non-porous & hard-wearing. The handmade earring wires are 14ct filled gold. These earrings are also available as clip-on.
