This large umbrella has a horn handle with sterling silver trim with bull motif which in a previous life was part of a carving set. It has been reclaimed, reworked, up-cycled & joined together with a new umbrella to create a wonderful gift that would sit well in any umbrella stand. in fact in will stand out & really make a statement of the owners style, class & status. The handle is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England, 1890 & has the initials WG JL Ld for the makers mark. The end cap with bull image does show some sign of silver fatigue from the much polishing over the years. See photos. Still, a lovely handle that I just had to have in my shop. This handle works well with the large size umbrella that I offer, that is the gentleman's umbrella. Although I can put it on the ladies umbrella if you like, just let me know & then more colours become available. These London made umbrellas are made by a company with over 200 years experience & only the best fabrics are used. Canopies: Poly-cotton ( 65% Polyester & 35% Cotton ). Black, Brown, Dark Blue, Bright Green, Dark Green, Burgundy, Cream, Dark Grey. Or Light Grey Polyester ( 100% Polyester).
