Description
The wavy textured design on this mug was made by rolling the texture into the wet clay before hand building it. This was my first attempt at adding the same texture on the bottom & the handle of the mug, & I will definitely continue to do that! The purple & gray glaze I used for this mug shows just the effect that I wanted, with the purple sinking into the deeper indentations, & the gray rising to the top. On the smooth inside & rim, however, you'll see the mottled effect this glaze has when there is no texture. This mug holds 16 fluid ounces, & is dishwasher & microwave safe. Wavy Textured Mug
