Antique DANISH JUST ANDERSEN ART DECO PEWTER (1884-1943) two armed Candleholder, Signed with 'JUST' Makers Mark. Danish Just Andersen art deco pewter candle holder produced by Just Andersen A/S around the 1930's. The candle holder is in good vintage condition & marked with Just. Andersens triangle mark JUST numbered with 1725 & Denmark. The candle holder is in great antique condition, light patina - no damages & has a nice weight to it. Height: Width: Depth: Weight: Just Andersen 1884-1943 was born in Godhavn on the Disko island, which is located on the west side of Greenland. His parents were inspector & probate manager in North Greenland. Just Andersens creative gene was quite obviously stimulated & developed during his childhood. Through his parents' business he grew up with a view of the world, & in contact with researchers & explorers who were later famous & inscribed in the history of their exploration & records of Greenland among them the famous explorers Robert Edwin Peary & Knud Rasmussen.
