G Plan Fresco Cupboard This handsome teak cabinet / cupboard from the 1960s Fresco range by G Plan is extremely adaptable. It would work well as a TV or media stand, as a small sideboard, or as a bedroom storage cupboard. The wood is a lovely warm teak colour, with beautiful grain on the doors in particular. The recessed plinth ensures that the cabinet looks light & elegant, almost floating. It is made of solid afromosia, a hardwood resembling mahogany which was often used in mid century furniture, finished with a teak veneer. The handles are solid teak. It is heavy & very well constructed, with an adjustable height shelf. The condition is extremely good, with almost no signs of its vintage.
