A best seller! If you have a lovely gin or spirit bottle it seems a shame to throw it into recycling, why not turn it into an attractive bottle lamp instead with this easy to assemble Harris Tweed Bottle Kit. The bottle is not included in this kit, complete lamp kits are also available. All you need to do is push the bottle lamp adaptor into your bottle & pop your new Harris Tweed lampshade on in the usual way to make a striking & modern bottle lamp. This lamp making kit would make a great present for any occasion teamed with a bottle of their favourite tipple! Your kit contains: Harris Tweed Lampshade complete with authenticity label sewn on to the front. Your shade will be your choice of 20cms x 18cms (8" x 7") or 25cm x 20cms (10" x 8"). I would always encourage you to use energy saving bulbs but the lampshade will be safe with a 40 watt bulb. Bottle Lamp Adaptor - a push in light fitting which comes with easy to follow instructions. You will need to supply your own bottle I'm afraid (but I'm sure you'll have fun doing that!) If you are thinking about giving this as a gift for birthday, house warming, wedding, engagement present or Christmas present, you could add in a bottle of their favourite tipple & select a shade that will compliment the colours in the bottle! If you need any help with choosing a good colour, simply send me a message. I'm always getting new tweeds in stock & may be able to obtain specific colours for you if they are available from the weavers. The Harris Tweed lampshade comes to you already made. Harris Tweed is, of course, the iconic brand of tweed that is only made on the island of Harris lying off the west coast of Scotland in the Outer Hebrides. The availability of tweeds fluctuates & I have different tweeds in stock at different times but if there is something in particular that you'd like I will do my utmost to obtain it for you. If there is something that you would particularly like please get in touch to discuss. The adaptor included in this kit will fit a bottle opening of 17mm - 19mm.
