A gorgeous & VERY rare vintage soup / cereal bowl designed by Peter Winquist for Arabia Finland in the 1970s. Heavy grey pottery bowl with blue around the rim & a swirl of blue & brown in the bottom. Approx 13.5cm in diameter, 5.5cm high. Marked as ARABIA FINLAND PW/IU on the base, looks hand decorated. A couple of imperfections - it looks like the inside of the bowl was scratched slightly (one line) before firing, & there's a smudge of the blue glaze on the grey outside.
