Vintage Stoneware Bosom Pad Mug, featuring 1874 advertising by Cox & Purves, made by Pearsons, Chesterfield It is stamped with a wonderfully humerous design - a 1874 advert for Zephyr Bosom Pads, apparently the only inflating pads, concave & ventilating! This glazed stoneware mug was made by Pearsons, Chesterfield. It is glazed inside & out, in a clear glaze allowing the natural colour of the stoneware base to shine through. With a chunky design, this mug would add some rustic charm to your desk. We think it would look great as a pen pot in a man cave too. The piece is stamped Pearsons Chesterfield England on the base. It measures approximately 85mm high & 85mm in diameter at the rim. The piece is in fair vintage condition with some signs of wear commensurate with its age including a large old chip to the base, which we have shown in the pictures.
