Set of 6 vintage white metal goblets or chalices. Based on the look & feel of them, they are likely made of silver plate, but they are unmarked so it is impossible to say conclusively. They likely date to the second half of the 20th century. They are all decorated with a floral pattern. On each goblet there are two areas of decoration which are similar to the surrounds you find in heraldic crests, but none of the goblets have any family crest supplied (see photos). It is possible that these were included in the design so that the owner could have their initials stamped in the space. All goblets are matching. Each goblet has been shined with silver polish, & they have come up really nice. There is a small amount of tarnish & wear to the goblets, concurrent with age. Sold as a set, but do get in touch if you only want one or two & we can negotiate a price. Size of each goblet: -6.9cm at widest point of bowl of the goblet - 6.3cm wide at base - 14cm high the bowl of these goblets are a bit smaller than normal-sized glass wine glasses, so please double check size before purchase Gift wrap -We wrap all items in complementary brown paper & string. I can also supply a complementary gift tag (see personalisation option). I can leave this blank for you to complete, or I can write in a gift inscription. All gift tags are 5 x 10 cm / 2 x 3.94 inch kraft paper tags to match the complementary wrapping paper. Packing -All items are simply wrapped in brown paper & string (because these are a few of my favourite things). The items are then carefully covered with several layers of bubble wrap before being placed in lined & padded cardboard boxes. -I try to source my packing materials as sustainably as possible. I reuse boxes, packing nuts & bubble wrap whenever I can. Any packing materials that I source outside this (such as bubble wrap or boxes) are biodegradable or recyclable. Postage -UK: Shipping is free to addresses within the UK. I use Royal Mail's 'Second Class Signed For' service for most items sent within the UK. These should arrive in a few days but do get in touch if you would like quicker shipping. Orders too large for this will be sent by another delivery agency, such as Parcelforce 48 hour. -EU/International: For orders outside the UK, I use Royal Mail's 'International Tracked & Signed' which gives you peace of mind & allows you to track your item.
