A beautiful 19th century Victorian era blown opaline glass parcel gilt cache pot. Elegant, sophisticated & luxurious, French Svres style, hand-blown pale robin's egg milky blue opaline glass with pontil scars, diminutive planter / sugar bowl form, featuring highly desirable transfer ware portrait, brilliant gilded accents, rising on circular foot base, verso marked 12. Dimensions: (approx) 3 High, 4 Diameter Excellent original condition with no damage. Minor expected signs of wear consistent with age & use, including typical rubbing / gilt loss, antique character marks. Overall a superb museum quality example.
