This beautiful CERAMIC lamp base is designed by Birger strm. Manufactured in 1960s in Sweden. Signed BM. Beautiful vintage condition! Birger strm was born in s rnskldsvik on November 25, 1931 & was actually to become a pastry chef like his father, but chose ceramics instead. in 1952 he opened his own ceramics studio on svgen in rnskldsvi together with his brother Karl Erik. He also made a lot of public decorations in i.a. concrete. Birger strm died in July 2020. The lamp takes an E27 bulb & comes with a plastic cord with an European plug.
