PLAY 001 2023 11x14 framed outer dimensions (width of frame is 1/2, depth of frame from wall is 3/4) 6x8 textile dimensions Naturally dyed silk textile / dyed by hand with mordanted with alum, printed with fresh homegrown coreopsis, cosmos & scabiosa blooms, painted with natural pH modifiers, drawing with natural pigment wax crayons. This is a handmade, unique work of art. I grow my own plants & flowers to use for pigment, forage locally for wildflowers, use food scraps, or occasionally purchase natural pigments from ethically sourced producers located around the world. Artwork can be purchased framed with plexiglass or unframed (textile only), please select in drop down menu. Unframed textile option is mounted to 11x14 white cardstock, secured with small handsewn tacks at the top of the piece. I do not use adhesives, which can affect the piece visually over time. Please allow 2-3 weeks processing time. Each piece is framed/mounted to order. Any international taxes/duties/fees outside of the shipping price are the responsibility of the buyer Please understand that this piece is made from natural botanical materials, & that the pigments may evolve over time due to exposure to sunlight & other environmental conditions, which is part of the artwork & ephemeral concept behind living color.
