This listing is for the Hallmark Rocking Horse Keepsake ornament designed by artist Linda Sickman & distributed for Christmas 1983. This horse is the third in the series & is a russet brown color & a cream colored tail & mane. The blue saddle & green rockers are trimmed in gold. The Rocking Horse series was one of the most popular series Hallmark ever produced. Starting in 1981 & running for sixteen years, the series ended in 1996. This ornament measures approximately 2 7/8 high x 4 wide. It is in excellent condition. The box is also in very good vintage condition with no splits or tears. There is some light markings on the back of the box as seen in the last picture. The small gold ornament label & price tag are still tucked into the inside edge of the box.
