Description
This little cabinet is so cute, dating from about the 1940s I think moving towards the fifties, made from ply with original bevelled mirror & chrome handle. Would once have been used as a shaving mirror or medicine cabinet & the dimensions are great for a modern home as it's not too large. This cupboard has been fully stripped of gloss paint to reveal the original birch ply wood, I have then used a colour blocking technique painting half of the cabinet in Farrow & Ball 'Verdigris Green' Estate Eggshell. The wooden areas have been oiled with Danish oil to protect & I have cleaned up the original chrome handle. in good vintage condition & fastens to the wall through brackets on the reverse. Would suit a vintage or a mid century home, perfect for a bathroom or downstairs loo. A rare piece as it's unusual to find things in smaller dimensions, making it ideal for those of us with limited space.
